New Students are defined here as current high school seniors completing course work at their high school, at Rockland Community College (early admit) or new adult students who have never attended Rockland Community College. For either group of applicants, you may not have completed more than nine college credits at any college or university.

This scholarship application is required for all scholarships listed in this booklet. Individual scholarships may require additional applications or documentation or earlier deadlines and are so noted. There will be no exceptions to the application requirements or to the deadlines listed. Scholarships not awarded may be distributed at a later date at the discretion of the Rockland Community College Scholarship Committee.

To apply for scholarships for new students:

  1. Both sides of the application, the recommendation form, copies of your high school transcript and, if applicable, copies of college transcripts, and supporting documents must be submitted by July 14 (or the date noted on the scholarship description) to Rockland Community College,
Financial Aid Office, 145 College Road, Suffern, NY 10901.
  2. If any scholarship specifies financial need, then a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be on file with the Financial Aid Office in order to be considered for that scholarship. For information visit www.fafsa.ed.gov or the RCC Financial Aid Office, Technology Center, Room 8141.
