Rockland Community College touches the lives of thousands of people each year. Since 1959, at least 34,000 have graduated, and many thousands more have taken courses or visited the campus for cultural, athletic or commercial events.

100% Participation Challenge

As we honor our past by celebrating our 50th Anniversary and prepare for the next fifty years and beyond, we have set a goal of 100% participation from numerous constituencies including:

• Alumni
• Students
• Parents
• Community leaders
• Employees
• Trustees
• Foundation Board Members

Rockland Community College, through the Rockland Community College Foundation, conducts annual fundraising campaigns in order to keep pace with the ever-increasing costs of maintaining education excellence and affordability that has characterized Rockland Community College. The college relies on the support of all of you to ensure students get a quality education at a lowest possible cost.

Why is giving to RCC so important?

Only 56% of Rockland Community College's operating budget is funded by state and local government. The rest is supported by student tuition, and friends like you. We must maintain our ability to finance the quality education we provide our students and the educational opportunities we provide to our community. With your help, Rockland Commuity College will continue its tradition of providing excellence in education for years to come.

Your annual gift provides support for:

• Student scholarships and support
• Faculty enrichment
• Laboratory and classroom equipment
• Seed money for innovative programs

• Special programs and activities for which you designate your funds
