International Orientation

Welcome to RCC!

We look forward to seeing you on campus soon! Be sure to check Applying for an F1 Visa and Housing pages to ensure that you are completing all the requirements necessary prior to your arrival.

International Student Services hosts International Orientation for all new international students approximately 1 week prior to the start of classes (the start date on your I-20). Attendance is mandatory for all new students!

Placement Testing

For Students Needing Testing Only

All new RCC students are required to do Math and English placement testing prior to registering for classes. Some exemptions are available.

Dates are available for testing prior to January 18. Please make sure to look at the testing schedule. January 18 has been set aside for any international students who cannot test prior to this date.

Testing can take 3-5 hours to complete. Make sure to bring pencil/pen and photo ID (passport).

An optional tour of campus will be offered prior to testing on January 18.  Please see below for check-in times.

Tour will leave promptly at 9:15am
All participants will be taken to testing after tour

9:45 am

Check-In for those not wanting a tour

International Student Orientation & Registration

All New International Students Must Report

Placement testing is required prior to attending orientation.

If you attend a Student Orientation, Advising and Registration (SOAR) day prior to this date, you must still come for International Orientation in the morning on January 19.
