Matriculate Checklist: Getting Started at RCC

Apply for Admission

  • Submit an online application.
  • Provide any required documentation:
    • Official HS transcript (official English translation, if applicable)

      (Please do not have transcripts sent via email. Email is not a secure medium for transmitting sensitive information. RCC uses two services specifically for securely receiving electronic transcripts: Parchment and Naviance. Please ask your high school to send transcripts via one of these services or by regular postal mail.)
    • High school equivalency (HSE) diploma (formerly GED)
    • Standardized test scores
    • Official transcript of prior college courses if applicable

Receive Official Email of Acceptance :

  • Immunization Form: fill out and send to Records & Registration
  • Student login password for email and myRCC portal account

Apply for Financial Aid

  • Apply for federal and state aid online at www.fafsa.ed.gov
  • Call for appointment or stop in for help

Determine Placement & Assessment

Attend Registration Appointment

  • Meet with advisor to select classes for you plan of study - your assigned recruiter will contact you to schedule an appointment
  • Register for classes
  • Get Student ID card

Pay Tuition

  • Pay by due date to avoid being dropped from classes
  • Payment plans and online payments - through myRCC portal
  • Cash, check, MasterCard, VISA, Discover or American Express accepted
