Accepted Students

Congratulations on your acceptance to a study abroad program! Now that you have been accepted, you can begin your pre-departure preparations. Information has been provided in this section on preparing for your study abroad experience.

 

Passport

Study Abroad participants must hold a valid passport. If you don't have a passport, apply as soon as possible!

 

US Citizens: Visit the Passport Services Office for more information on how to obtain or renew your passport.

 

Non US citizens: Contact your country's embassy in the U.S.

 

Visas

Visa is attached to your Passport. A Visa permits you to enter into or travel within a particular country.It is the students' responsibility to obtain the required visas (if any) for entry to the country in which the program is located. Information on Visa requirements are available from each country's embassy in the United States (http://www.embassy.org/).

 

Extending Your Stay

If you are interested in extending your study abroad experience into a new semester:

  1. Contact the administering study abroad program and request permission to extend your stay.
  2. Contact your academic advisor to complete and approve another course approval form.
