Learning Community Student FAQs

What are learning communities?

Learning communities offer two paired classes in a smaller social and academic setting within the larger college community. Students explore themes and topics from different perspectives and use the skills learned in one class to perform better in the other learning community course. They may participate in special activities designed for their specific learning community.  Students also have access to peer mentors who can provide advice and help, inside and outside the classroom.
