(Course with a “T” code)

The College offers Telecourses through a series of video or audio tapes, assignments, and exams and papers. The videos include educationally produced programming material; they are not recorded lectures. The videos supplement the textbook materials you will be required to read and the assignments you will be required to submit. Viewing/listening time is usually one hour per week per course and reading materials are usually on to two chapters. Assignments may be submitted to the instructor through email, postal mail or campus mail. However, all exams MUST be taken on campus in the Testing Center located on the third floor of the Technology Center, unless other accommodations have been made. All telecourses follow the semester’s beginning and ending dates.

All registered students may borrow Telecourse videos for home use during the semester. Priority is given to students with medical problems and to those who live at a distance. Videos are distributed through the Main Circulation Desk in the Library. They are loaned as a whole series and must be returned by the date indicated in your syllabus. If videos are not returned on time, grades will be impounded. In order to borrow videos from the Library, students MUST have a valid RCC STUDENT ID. Students may view videos in the Main Level of the Library during the open hours. For more information please contact the Library Circulation Desk at 845-574-4408
