Online Courses
(Courses with an “S” code) The College offers all of its online courses through the SUNY Learning Network (SLN). When you take a class online, you interact with the instructor and the other students through the Internet. You take tests*, write papers, complete homework assignments, ask and answer questions, and participate in discussions on your computer with an Internet connection. You may use a computer at home, in your office or even in the computer lab on campus. Online courses have the same high quality and standards as on-campus courses. After registering for a course at Rockland Community College, students in an online course must go to the SUNY Learning Network website at www.sln.suny.edu Here they can get an account for SLN and a password to access their course. All online courses follow the semester’s beginning and ending dates.
