DISTANCE LEARNING at SUNY Rockland Community College provides the opportunity for students to take classes in a setting other than the traditional face-to-face classroom.  SUNY Rockland Community College offers various distance learning modes:  online, hybrid, tele course, and flexible enrollment to meet the individual needs and preferences of students.

Backed by the State University of New York (SUNY) Learning Network award winning distance education program, Rockland Community College with its own academic, technical and student service infrastructure provides students with online courses that achieve the same goals and objectives required for its regular classroom course offerings.

All course materials and class activities can be accessed online 24/7 to meet the needs of students while they are at home, in their office, at night or even on the weekend.  With the use of innovative course delivery software, instructors manage their courses, deliver rich course materials, conduct online discussion, assess student work, and provide feedback promptly and effectively to students.
