Although there is no specific English or mathematics requirement for this certificate, students must take the English and mathematics assessments. In order to graduate, they must be assessed at ENG 101 (or higher) and MAT 101 (or higher) or receive a passing grade in the required English Skills or pre-MAT 101 course(s). A minimum of strong algebra background is recommended for this certificate.
