I. English (6 Credits Required)

ENG 101 English Composition I (3 cr)
ENG 102 English Composition II (3 cr)

 

II. Pluralism and Diversity (3 Credits Required)

PDA 110 Pluralism and Diversity in Business and Industry (3 cr)
(or equivalent by advisement)

 

III. Social Science (6 Credits Required)

ECO 201 Microeconomics (3 cr)
ECO 202 Macroeconomics (3 cr)


IV. Mathematics (6 Credits Required)

MAT 107 or higher level mathematics courses by placement or advisement.
Recommended: MAT 125 and either MAT 109 or MAT 215.

 

V. Science (6 Credits Required)

Select courses at the appropriate levels from the following codes: BIO, CHM, ENR, PHY, SCI.
NOTE: Some four year colleges require lab sciences.


VI. Humanities (Not Required For This Degree)

 

VII. Arts and Sciences (3 Credits Required)

Select courses from the following codes: ANR, ARA, ASL, ART, BIO, CHI, CHM, COM, ECO, ENG, ENR, FRE, GEO, GER, HEB, HIS, ITA, LSK, MAT*, MUS, PDA, PER, PHL, PHY, POL, PSY, RLS, RUS, SCI, SOC, SPA, SPE.

*NOTE: Math 101, 102, 104, ECO 101, 201, 202 may not be used to satisfy the Arts and Sciences

ACC 101 Principles of Accounting I (4 cr)
ACC 102 Principles of Accounting II p (4 cr)
MGT 150 Principles of Management (3 cr)
BUS/PHL 260 Ethics in Business (3 cr)
OFT 912 Computer Keyboarding (1 cr)*
*Students who demonstrate a keyboard speed of 20 wpm or higher with no more than one error may be exempt from OFT 912.

 

Elective Requirements (6 Credits)

Two business-related electives (by advisement): ACC, BKG, BUS, CSP, ECO, FIN, HOS, INT, MGT, MKT, OFT (except 103), PLG

NOTE: MgD students are required to take BUS 273: Business Internship.

ECO 101, 201, 202 may not be used to satisfy the business related electives.

REC 205: Community CPR & First Aid
REC 207: CPR for the Professional Rescuer
Note: PED courses earn Pass/Fail grades; REC courses earn letter grades.

If you intend to transfer to a four-year college, you should seek advisement as soon as possible. Faculty advisers in the academic disciplines or counselors in the Student Development Center can help you choose the appropriate courses. You should also consult the catalog and the admissions office of the four-year college to which you intend to transfer.
