ENG 101 English Composition I (3 cr)
ENG 102 English Composition II (3 cr)

 

II. Pluralism and Diversity (3 Credits Required)

PDA 110 Pluralism and Diversity in Business and Industry (or equivalent by advisement) (3 cr)

 

III. Social Science (6 Credits Required)

Select one course from the following:

ECO 101 American Economy
ECO 201 Microeconomics
ECO 202 Macroeconomics

Select 3 additional credits with any of the following codes: ANR, ECO, GEO, HIS, POL, PSY, SOC.


IV. Mathematics (3 Credits Required)

Select MAT 101 or higher at the highest appropriate level by placement and advisement.*

*NOTE: Students should be aware that many four-year colleges do not accept Math 101 for transfer credit. Policies toward granting credit for Math 102 will vary among four-year colleges.

*Some four-year institutions require qualifying examinations or successful completion of advanced accounting courses before accepting these courses for transfer credit. Some colleges accept a maximum of 18 credits in business for transfer. Students are advised to consult with an accounting faculty member regarding transferability of accounting courses.

NOTE: Students intending to transfer are encouraged to take ECO 201, ECO 202, CSP 101 and additional mathematics, psychology and sociology courses.

Planning to transfer:
If you intend to transfer to a four-year college, you should seek advisement as soon as possible. Faculty advisers in the academic disciplines or counselors in the Student Development Center can help you choose the appropriate courses. You should also consult the catalog and the admissions office of the four-year college to which you intend to transfer.
