Nursing Process IVA

 
 

The nursing process is applied to meeting the needs of adult patients with multiple health problems, at least one of which is related to chemical regulation and/or the cardiovascular component of gaseous transfer. Laboratory experiences are provided in the Nursing Laboratory and in acute care and other medical-surgical settings in the community.

 

Prerequisite: NUR 103 (if clinical competency test not passed) NUR 106, NUR 111, NUR 113, NUR 141, NUR 142, NUR 231, NUR 232, ENG 101, ENG 102, BIO 110, BIO 111, BIO 207, CHM 105, PED (2), PSY 103, PSY 19, and current AHA Basic Life Support Health Care Provider certification.

Pre or Co-requisite: PDA 101 and a PED course.

Hours: 8.5
