Nursing Process IIIA
The nursing process is applied to meeting the needs of patients during the maternity cycle. Normal physiological, psychological and social changes are considered, as well as health problems due to deviations from the normal. Laboratory experiences are provided in maternity settings in the community and in the Nursing Laboratory.
Prerequisite: NUR 103 (if clinical competency test not passed) NUR 106, NUR 111, NUR 113, NUR 141, NUR 142, ENG 101, ENG 102, BIO 110, BIO 111, CHM 105, PED (1), PSY 103 and current AHA Basic Life Support Health Care Provider certification.
Pre or Co-requisite: PSY 191 and a PED course.
