Coming to America (cross-listed with GEO 130)
Consideration of the various waves of immigration to the United States including the present demographic and special characteristics of our population. Systematic themes will include: population changes; dominant group versus minority group interaction; evolution of discriminatory spatial behavior; and the role of cities in immigration and multicultural evolution.
