BIO 212

Environmental Science


This course addresses the fundamental principles of environmental science. Ecological concepts, geochemical cycles, evolution, the physical environment, environmental policy, environmental health, environmental ethics, environmental education, and sustainability are assessed from the local to global level.  Human impact on the environmental is an ongoing theme.  Scientific investigation will be emphasized.  Students travel to area field sites to apply course topics.
