BIO 207



The study of the structure and function of microorganisms. Areas of emphasis will include: microbial morphology and nomenclature; growth and reproduction; enzymology; cellular bioenergetics; biochemical activities; clinical microbiology encompassing microbial control, immunology and disease processes.


Prerequisite: BIO 105, BIO 106, and CHM 101 or CHM or BIO 110, BIO 111 and CHM 101 or CHM 105
