General Ecology
This lab-based course introduces fundamental concepts in ecology. It explores the interactions between organisms and their environment as well as discusses factors that influence organism abundance and distribution. Both living and non-living elements of a variety of ecosystems is discussed in addition to the influence of humans on these elements. Population, community and ecosystem level ecology is discussed.
Prerequisite: ENG 101 or higher
