BIO 106

General Biology II


The course is the second semester of a one year long general biology sequence in the study of plant and animal groups form and function from an evolutionary viewpoint. This course focuses on responsiveness, hormonal control, circulation, nutrition, gas exchange, body defense, and excretion in animals. Laboratory exercise use dissection of live animals, museum mount specimen; models and slides to reinforce the basic concepts studies in lecture.
