ASL 201
Intermediate American Sign Language I
4 hours, 4 credits. Prerequisite: ASL 102 or permission of the instructor. ASL 201 reviews the competency and structures of ASL 102 including finger spelling and manual number. This course is designed to build more receptive and expressive sign vocabulary, sign structure grammar and phrases, use of signing space, social expression and body language as well as fostering the study of deaf culture.
