3 hours, 2 credits. Prerequisites: Art 102 and Art 103. Provides for continued development of the theory and practice of drawing from the nude human figure. It also serves as an introduction to the nature and method of self directed inquiry and its relation to the creative process. Though material is presented and discussed with the class as a group, students develop individual drawing projects and explore thematic material over the course of the semester.
