The Performing Arts Department of SUNY Rockland Community College, coordinated by Patricia Maloney-Titland, is committed to a professional representation of the performing arts. Students may study Theatre, Dance and Music and may concentrate in any of these areas with degree or non-degree status. An important feature of performing arts at Rockland Community College is the department faculty, dedicated Theatre, Dance and Music professionals. The success of our department continues through increased enrollment, creative diversity and excellence in all areas. We are proud of our students, many of whom transfer to the theatre, dance and music departments of major colleges and universities, bringing with them self-confidence, determination and an enlightened appreciation of the arts. These performances are an example of the department's insistence on first-rate design production and performance. We thank you for supporting collegiate art. As we strive to grow and challenge ourselves, it is our hope that you will continue to believe in the work as a creative art and remain a part of our ensemble.

We pride ourselves on delivering quality productions at an unequaled fraction of the cost of other shows in the area, including Broadway. Our annual summer Shakespeare production not only brings classics to the county of Rockland and enhances the accessibility to the youth of the area, but it is a production that is free to the public! Do not miss the opportunity to enjoy quality arts in the area simply because we are based at a college. We have been called hidden gems under the stones of Rockland County. Please come and join us for any and all of our shining moments!
