FAQs
Are there any new courses planned for upcoming semesters?
Computer Forensics courses will be available through a consortium among Rockland, Orange, Sullivan and Ulster community college. Courses in Information Assurance are also planned. Check the online course schedule for a listing of CNE courses and/or e-mail Professor Nicole Hanaburgh nhanabur@sunyrockland.edu for more info.
Am I required to complete the entire Computer Networking degree or may I register for individual courses?
You are not required to take all of the courses if you are not pursuing a degree. Many students take individual courses to prepare for certification. However, the college has rules as to how many courses can be taken without being assessed in math and English. Financial Aid may also have additional rules. You are responsible for making sure that you comply with all college and financial aid requirements.
