SUNY Rockland offers several types of programs:

The Associate in Applied Sciences (A.A.S.) degree programs are designed to prepare students for immediate entry into a career. For the A.A.S. degree, students devote one third of their course work to the liberal arts and sciences, and two thirds to their field of study. The college offers a variety of one-year certificate programs which provide job entry skills. For certificate programs, fewer liberal arts and sciences courses are required.
