How is the program organized?
You can study English as a Second Language full-time at four levels, Intermediate I and II, and Advanced I and II. The classes are eight to 13 hours per week depending on the level. You will also spend time in the computer lab as part of your program. You may also be permitted to take credit-bearing college courses after consultation with your ESL advisor.
Can International Students be admitted to Rockland Community College?
Yes, you can obtain your I-20 with help from our International Students Advisor and be admitted as a full-time student.
How can I apply?
For exact information, please click on the link for Admissions. Once you have completed the application process, you will be asked to take the English and Mathematics Placement Tests. If you place into English as a Second Language, you will be given an appointment to meet with an ESL advisor.
