Electrical Technology Facilities
Almost all classes in Electrical Technology combine lectures with hands-on Laboratory work The lectures are in modern air-conditioned classrooms in Academic Buildings 1 and 2.
Electronics Laboratory
The Electronics Laboratory is located in the Technology Building. This laboratory is used for courses in DC Theory, Network analysis, AC Theory, Semiconductors, Digital Circuits, and Linear Circuits. It is also used for practical computer troubleshooting. The Laboratory is equipped with Dual-Trace Oscilloscopes, Function generators, Counters, Digital Voltmeters, professional Breadboards and power supplies. Students work in small groups of 2-3, with direct supervision from a faculty member.
Computer Networking (CNE) Laboratory
The CNE laboratories in rooms 8374 and 8376 are for use by students in Computer Networking and Electronics and Computer Technology courses ONLY. The computers are configured for Network Administration practice only. They are NOT connected to the Internet, and application programs such as word processors are not installed.
