The Exercise & Human Performance discipline offers a wide variety of courses to meet the fitness and course needs for all Rockland's student population. From fitness counseling to Tai Chi, the program offers many opportunities for students to stay fit and develop skills that can be used in later life. Fitness courses include weight training, aerobics, and slimnastics. Students who are interested in outdoor education can select skiing, and back packing.
Since the opening of Rockland Community College, the Exercise & Human Performance program has fostered a policy that promotes fitness, health and wellness. The goal of the program is to implement a life-long learning process and the opportunity for students to participate in a variety of physical activity classes on a consistent basis.
