Holocaust Survivor Testimony
Dr. Jack Wetter, clinical psychologist and Associate Clinical Professor Emeritus, UCLA School of Medicine, spent the first two harrowing years of his life hiding from the Nazis with his parents and other Jews in a tiny cellar in Belgium, malnourished and deprived of light. He will discuss the long-range effects of his early life traumas and his struggle to overcome what we now refer to as post-traumatic stress syndrome.

Panel Discussion: The Impact of the Holocaust on Three Generations
Moderated by Carol King Berkman, adjunct faculty, LCSW, Clinical Social Worker and Family Life Educator, Jewish Family Service, with a panel including a survivor, a child and a grandchild of survivors. Sponsored by Mark & Ismini Svensson in honor of the victims of the Holocaust and all who recognize anti-Semitism and stand against it.
