| Purpose: | The Curriculum Committee reviews all degrees and department offerings within the following contexts: The place of curriculum within the total concept of education The place of community college curriculum within the total concept and structure of education The place of RCC's existing and future offerings in the above schema. The committee's goal is to keep degree and offerings current, relevant and excellent. |

| Purpose: | To establish inter-disciplinary environmental education to provide an opportunity for all graduates to become environmentally literate and have the awareness and understanding to be ecologically responsible citizens; to establish faculty development opportunities to develop the capability of college faculty to teach environmental literacy to all students; to establish partnerships with primary and secondary schools to develop inter-disciplinary teaching about environmental issues; and to expand work with community and non-governmental organizations to find solutions to environmental problems. |
