RCC-TV Announces Winners of High School, College and Alumni Video Competition
at Rockland Community College
Media professionals judged record number of entries
Suffern, NY—Media professionals judged 60 student-and alumni-produced videos at SUNY Rockland Community College’s third annual RCC-TV Video Festival.
RCC-TV in cooperation with the Performing Arts dept. produced the event on April 21. Videos were produced by RCC and Suffern, Nyack, BOCES, Clarkstown South, Ramapo, Nanuet and Clarkstown North High School students and ranged from 60 sec. - 12 min.
Prizes were awarded in each category for RCC students, who competed for the grand prize a SONY 32” 1080p LCD HD-TV. The grand prize for the Alumni category was a 32gig iPod Touch. The high schools competed against each other with the top 3 schools receiving a trophy and the student winners, an Apple gift card.

Best Animation: Alex Mathelier, "The Tree"
Best Short Film: Christian Vermazen, "Torc"
Best Overall RCC Alumni: Tony Milio '09, "I'll Go Where You'll Go"
Best High School Video: Nyack, Charles Caster-Dudzick, Category: "Continuity"
RCC-TV will air all winners of each category.

The 4th Annual RCC-TV Video Festival will take place on May 4, 2011, in the Cultural Arts Theater, main campus in Suffern, at 7:00 p.m.
