Ramapo- Please join us and attend The Vote in America:Struggle Challenge, and Change, an inspiring, entertaining, and educational multi-media presentation in honor of African American History Month at Rockland Community College.

The multi-media presentation features live music and dance, videos and iconic archival photographs and narration by leaders of the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s. Learn about the early days of African Americans’ historic struggle to gain the right to vote in America and the continuing challenges and changes to exercising those precious rights.

This event is sponsored by the African American Historical Society of Rockland County, in collaboration with RCC’s African American History Committee and Performing Arts Department.
