TD Bank Donates $2,500 to Rockland Community College's Foundation
For Comprehensive Education and Family Resource Center

Suffern, NY - The TD Bank Charitable Foundation donated $2,500 to the Rockland Community College Foundation to be put towards the Comprehensive Education and Family Resource Center, which helps low income parents set their children on the pathway to college.

The Comprehensive Education and Family Resource Center of Rockland, a collaborative project between SUNY Rockland Community College and The CEJJES Institute, has an office at the Rockland Community College Spring Valley and Haverstraw Extension Sites.

The Center serves families with children middle through high school age and promotes the importance of education. The mission of the center is to help parents take charge and become active participants in their children's school and out-of-school academic and social endeavors. Services include providing information and referrals concerning Nutrition, Health Maintenance, Life Skills, Money Management, Substance Abuse, Parents’ Support Group, and College Preparatory Programs.

Rockland Community College, a unit of the State University of New York, is located 25 miles northwest of NYC. The majority of its students transfer to four-year colleges, and many find immediate employment upon earning their associate's degree or certificate. The College also offers others, from preschoolers to senior citizens, the opportunity to simply learn something new. Quality education...at a price you can afford.
