Students Celebrate Sukkot Holiday


SUNY Rockland Students Celebrate Sukkot Holiday


Suffern, NY - "Sushi in the Sukkah" and live entertainment by a Jewish singer-songwriter are expected to draw hundreds of students and others to SUNY Rockland's outdoor Sukkah, the "hut" built on campus in honor of the joyous Jewish Festival of Sukkot, which runs this year from October 3-10.


Tuesday, October 6, 12:30-1:30 pm.

Quad between Academic buildings I and II,

Admission: Suggested donation of $3 students and $5 non-students

The festivities take place in the Sukkah. The entertainer, Moshe H, is a rising star in the Jewish music world. The event is presented by the College's Hillel Club and Center for Jewish Life.
