Scholarship Golf Outing Fundraiser
Rockland Community College Foundation's 27th Annual Scholarship Golf Outing Fundraiser to be at Spook Rock
Ramapo, NY - The Rockland Community College Foundation will hold its 27th Annual Golf Outing Benefit on Tuesday, August 10, at the Town of Ramapo Spook Rock Golf Course in Suffern.
Starting times: a.m. and p.m. available
Donation (if received before July 4): $175 per golfer;
Foursome plus hole sponsorship--$800
Donation (if received after July 4): $199 donation per golfer; Foursome plus hole sponsorship--$900
The donation to the Foundation includes 18 holes of golf, golf carts, hot lunch provided by Chalet at Spook Rock, cocktail reception, and a steak and lobster dinner provided by DeCicco’s MarketPlace;. The daylong event also includes an auction, raffles, sports memorabilia (silent auction) and many prizes.
Funds raised by the Foundation go toward student scholarships and other projects to benefit students. Last year the Foundation gave out more than $200,000 in scholarships and other support to students and since its inception in 1982, the Foundation has raised more than $2 million.
"The annual golf outing is a signature event of the Foundation. Not only do participants enjoy a great day of golf, they truly help an important community institution and the students who rely on it," Foundation Executive Director Don Cairns said.
