According to The American Occupational Therapy Association, millions of people of all ages benefit from occupational therapy to help them with daily life skills such as getting dressed, being productive at school or work, eating unassisted, or even socializing despite illness or injury. In rehabilitation clinics or hospitals, occupational therapy practitioners help adults learn or regain skills that allow them to work, drive, shop, or even prepare a meal. Occupational therapy can help seniors stay healthier and remain active and safe in their homes and community.
