New Classroom and Online Courses Offered This Fall at SUNY Rockland Community College
Students can learn anything from Chinese to Automotive Technology
Suffern, NY - Seventeen new courses were added to the Fall semester credit offerings at SUNY Rockland Community College.
The new classroom courses teach a variety of subjects ranging from Computer Assisted Design (CAD) and Marine Biology to Chinese language and Latin dance. The new online courses range from Automotive Technology and Fire Protection to Art and Irish Literature.
Fall registration has begun, with the first day of classes starting Saturday, Sept 1st. There is still time to register through September 10.
CLASSROOM COURSES:
BIO 220, Marine Biology, Tues, Thurs, 8:00-9:15 a.m.
CHI 101, Elementary Chinese I, Mon, Wed, 1:00-2:40 p.m.
CAD 221, 3D Drafting/Intro to Solidworks, Tues 6:00-9:50 p.m.
CAD 222, Advanced 3D Drafting/Solidworks, Tues 6:00-9:50 p.m.
PED 103, Latin Dance/Zumba, Wed 8:00-9:50 p.m., Thurs 6:00-7:30 p.m.
ONLINE COURSES:
When you take a class online, you interact with the instructor and the other students through the Internet. You write papers, complete homework assignments, ask and answer questions, and participate in discussions on your computer at home, in your office or even in the computer lab on campus.
