More Than $200,000 in Scholarships to be Awarded
at SUNY Rockland Community College's Scholarship Awards Ceremony

 

Ramapo, NY - More than 100 outstanding continuing and graduating students will receive more than $200,000 in scholarships at SUNY Rockland's Scholarship Awards Ceremony on Monday, May 17, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. in the Cultural Arts Theater.

 

Scholarships range from a two-year full tuition scholarship to Pace University (valued at $80,000) and SUNY Rockland ($3,500 value) to smaller awards of several hundred dollars. Students are recognized for excellence in academics, program of study, athletics, and service to community. Recipients include art students, nursing students, athletes, students with disabilities, children of alumni and honor students.

 

Scholarships will be awarded by the Rockland Community College Foundation as well as by private donors, foundations, organizations and corporations.
