Fundraiser to be at Spook Rock
There will be hole-in-one opportunities to win a new 2008 Toyota, Ford, and $10,000 cash
Suffern, NY - The Rockland Community College Foundation will celebrate its 25th Silver Anniversary Scholarship Golf Outing on Tuesday, August 19, at the Town of Ramapo Spook Rock Golf Course in Suffern.
Starting times: a.m. and p.m. available
Cost: $199 donation per golfer
The donation to the Foundation covers 18 holes of golf, golf carts, hot lunch provided by Sutter's Mill of Suffern, cocktail hour, steak and lobster dinner provided by DeCicco's Marketplace, an auction, raffle, sports memorabilia (silent auction) and many prizes. There will be hole-in-one opportunities to win a new Toyota, Ford, and $10,000 cash.
Funds raised by the Foundation go toward student scholarships and other projects to benefit students. Last year the Foundation gave out more than $200,000 in scholarships and other support to students and since its inception in 1982, the Foundation has raised more than $2 million.
"The annual golf outing is a signature event of the Foundation. Not only do participants enjoy a great day of golf, they truly help an important community institution and the students who rely on it," Foundation Executive Director Don Cairns said.
