Enrollment Services Available at SUNY Rockland Community College’s Haverstraw Extension Center
Staff will answer questions on courses and financial aid on August 20
Suffern, NY - Staff from SUNY Rockland Community College will be on hand at the Haverstraw Extension Center to discuss academic programs and financial aid as well as to enroll students in courses on all campuses.
An Academic Advisement and Registration session will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2:30 – 7:00 p.m., at the SUNY Rockland Haverstraw Extension Center, 37 West Broad Street, Haverstraw. Fall classes begin Tuesday, September 2.
Students can take courses on the main campus in Suffern, and the Spring Valley and Haverstraw Extension Centers. The Fall ’08 semester Haverstraw courses include: Principles of Accounting, Hospitality on the Hudson, English Composition, Math Skills, Art Appreciation and MS Access/MS Excel.
Students taking courses at the Haverstraw Extension Center learn in brand-new classrooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology, such as computers built into every desk and digital projectors that project images onto a screen from a lens built into the ceiling.
The facility includes eight classrooms, a student lounge/internet cafe, a faculty advising room, a conference room and reception/gallery area, all overseen by a 24-hour state-of-the-art security system.
