Organic Garden Club of SUNY Rockland Invites Community
to Learn Pest-Resistant Composting
Lecture is free and open to the public
Suffern, NY - The community is invited to hear Master Gardener Kit Meenan, of Cornell University Cooperative Extension, speak about composting and vermicomposting at Rockland Community College.

The RCC student Organic Garden Club has invited Master Gardener Kit Meenan, of Cornell University Cooperative Extension, to speak about composting and vermicomposting. These two methods help create a healthy garden that resists pests.

The Organic Garden Club is also holding a plant sale and film fundraiser to raise funds for gardening tools and a shed:
November 17, 12:30-2:30 p.m.; 3-5 p.m.; 6:00- 8:30 p.m.

Admission: $3.00 suggested donation
The film is being shown three times. The evening presentation will offer a Q and A after the movie. Refreshments and plants will be available for sale. Funds are being raised to purchase gardening tools and a shed.
