College Volunteers Collected Two Tons of Food at County-Wide Food Drive

Rockland Community College Volunteers Collected Two Tons of Food
at County-Wide Food Drive

 

Suffern, NY - More than 50 SUNY Rockland students, faculty and staff collected two tons of food from supermarkets across the county on April 25.

 

All collected foods were donated to People to People of Nanuet, a charity that provides much needed food, especially around the holidays, to the people of Rockland.

 

The following stores granted permission to the College to conduct the food drive on their premises:

  • Stop & Shop—Mount Ivy
  • Pathmark—Nanuet
  • Shop Rite—Garnerville
  • Shop Rite—Tallman
  • DeCicco Marketplace—New City
  • Stop & Shop—West Nyack
  • A&P—Valley Cottage
