Job Training Courses for a Changing Economy
Suffern, NY - This summer the Center for Personal & Professional Development (CPPD) is offering courses for people looking for jobs and redesigning careers in a changing economy.
New courses designed to boast your wallet include: How to Survive a Lay Off; Managing Your Personal Finances; Secrets That Wall Street Does Not Want You to Know; and How to Save Energy, Save Money and Perhaps Even Save the Planet.
Upgrade your Internet skills to compete in today’s job market or to simply show off pictures of your grandchildren by enrolling in: Taking the Step from Film to Pixels: Intro to Digital Photography Workshop, or, E-mail, Instant Messenger, Picture Album and Social Networking Sites for Seniors.
CPPD also continues to offer courses in job training in the health care fields.
Teens can indulge in their creative sides this summer by taking Digital Video Workshop for Teens or Portfolio Development Workshop for High School Students, College Students and Others.

In addition to the main campus in Suffern, CPPD offers courses in the Spring Valley and Haverstraw Extension Centers. The Senior Education program is varied and designed for adults who want to continue to actively learn and grow.
