College Hosts Nationally Recognized Workshops For Those Interested in Becoming a Certified Group Exercise Instructor

Suffern, NY - SUNY Rockland Community College and NETA, a non-profit fitness professional association, are co-sponsoring the following nationally-recognized workshops for those interested in becoming a certified group exercise instructor:
Group Exercise Certification
Saturday, December 8, 8:00 a.m., RCC Fieldhouse
Potential and current fitness instructors will learn basic academic and practical application of teaching group exercise. No college, science or teaching background required. Workshop registration includes a full-day review, written exam, 2-year certificate and membership.
Stability Ball Workshop
Sunday, December 9, 8:00 a.m., RCC Fieldhouse
Incorporate the use of a stability ball into exercise programming for one-on-one clients or group exercise participants. Use stretching, strengthening, balance, and coordination activities on the ball to provide your clients with a challenging full body workout. Bring your own ball.
