SUNY Rockland Community College Appoints Dean of Instruction
Suffern, NY - SUNY Rockland Community College has appointed Dr. Susan Deer to the position of Dean of Instruction.
Dr. Susan Deer of Valley Cottage is responsible for program planning, evaluation and administration in the instructional division. Since 1983, Deer worked for Orange County Community College, Middletown, as a Full Professor in the Department in Human Movement, an Associate Vice President for the Health Professions, Athletic Director and Union President of the Staff and Chair Association. Deer holds a Ph.D. in Education from Capella University, Minneapolis, MN, a Master of Science degree in Biophysical Focus of Human Movement, with a concentration in Exercise Physiology and Kinesiology, from East Stroudsburg University, PA, a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts from SUNY Brockport, and an Associate in Art from Orange County Community College, Middletown.
