Another Sell-Out Crowd Expected to Attend Student Fashion Show Fundraiser
at SUNY Rockland Community College
Suffern, NY - Five designers from Rockland and the tri-state area will showcase their couture collections at SUNY Rockland Community College’ s popular student fashion show held this fall to benefit Head Start of Rockland.
The student fashion club, Fashion House of London (FHL) will present "Intrigue: The World of FHL" on Friday November 30, 8 p.m. in the Cultural Arts Center Theater on the main campus in Suffern. Tickets are $10.00.
The theme of "Intrigue" will showcase a lifestyle of the jet setting club, Fashion House of London, showcasing the designs of RCC’s own student designers.
The show will feature more than 30 Fashion House of London models. This will be the eighth fashion show produced under the FHL label.
Vershawn London, organizer of the fashion show and President of FHL, is a part-time RCC student studying business. Every season the FHL donates the proceeds to charity. "We hope to continue to change lives one runway show at a time," London stated. "It’s a lot of hard work and takes a very dedicated group of individuals to pull off these events."
