“Sexual Identity” Lecture Concludes Spring ’08 Human Diversity Lecture Series

at SUNY Rockland Community College

 

Admission is free and open to the public

 

Suffern, NY - The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) of SUNY Rockland Community College will conclude its Spring'08 Human Diversity Lecture Series with a lecture on sexual identity.

 

Date/Time: Thursday, May 8, 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Location: Technology Center, Room 8180 (Ellipse), Rockland Community College, 145 College Road, Suffern.

Lecture: "Sexual identity, gender roles and human learning in patriarchal societies."

Description: Edmund T. Gordon, Associate Provost and Associate Professor, Anthropology, University of Texas at Austin, specializes in research on the African Diaspora in Central America and the Caribbean, and the economic anthropology of gender.

Admission: Free and open to the public.
