Intended Audience: Anyone concerned with their health

Abstract: With skyrocketing rates of chronic disease, the ability to age in a healthy way is something that can benefit both young and old. The types of choices we make can have a significant impact on maintaining youthful stamina and intellectual abilities, while minimizing or even reversing decline. Information will be presented about the types of food and nutrients that can retard the aging process, and the benefits of other lifestyle choices.

About the Speaker: Gina Liberti, MS, DTR, MS ED, adjunct faculty, Science, is Dietetic Technology Registered. She earned a BA in Special Education from Jersey City State College, Jersey City, NJ; an MA in Education from Hunter College, New York City, NY; a DTR from Rockland Community College, Suffern, NY; and an MS in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport, Bridgeport, CT.
