Abstract: As we age, many are confused about the connection between nutrition and the development of disease. The body wants to be in balance, and as new food and better quality food choices are introduced, the body can begin to normalize. Food choices and other important guidelines to enhance nutrient absorption are also explained.
About the Speaker: Gina Liberti, MS, DTR, MS ED, adjunct faculty, Science, is Dietetic Technology Registered. She earned a BA in Special Education from Jersey City State College, Jersey City, NJ; an MA in Education from Hunter College, New York City, NY; a DTR from Rockland Community College, Suffern, NY; and an MS in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport, Bridgeport, CT.
