Abstract: Since taking the helm at RCC, Dr. Cliff L. Wood, President, has inspired audiences throughout the community with his uplifting and encouraging messages on how to motivate students of all abilities to achieve their best. His four-decade career in community colleges has given him a long-range perspective about current trends in higher education, the impact of globalization, diversity, technology, and shifting paradigms in student population.

About the Speaker: Dr. Cliff L. Wood has served as President of RCC since 2004, overseeing major growth in the College’s physical plant, enrollment and community involvement. He provides volunteer leadership to numerous organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Holocaust Museum & Study Center, and more. He served as President of the New York Community Colleges Association of Presidents. He earned his BS, MS and EdD in psychology and education at Texas A & M University-Commerce.
