RAMAPO, NY – Registration is now open for the Spring 2019 semester at Rockland Community College. The semester starts on January 19, both for generally enrolled students and those enrolled in seven-week, full-credit flex start classes. RCC is also holding information sessions throughout January on the Automotive Technology, Human Performance Studies and Nursing. The sessions offer prospective students comprehensive assistance in planning an academic and career track. The events are free and open to the public.

Occupational Therapy Assistant Info Session

Automotive Technology Info Session

Students can earn an AAS in Automotive Technology, including four Snap-on certifications. The Automotive Technology Center is a 27,304-square-foot facility that features five classrooms, a certification room, a Snap-on Certified lab, 10 lifts and customized Snap-on equipment. More than 15 Snap-on certifications and workforce training courses are offered at the center, an NC3 National Leadership Member. All the required core paralegal classes are offered during evening and weekend hours and the program is designed so one can complete the certificate within two semesters or the associate's degree in four semesters. Gain the skills and knowledge for entry-level positions as paralegals, working under the supervision of attorneys.

Get started toward a rewarding and meaningful career as a Registered Nurse (RN). Meet with faculty and staff and learn about requirements, tuition, financial aid, and classroom and clinical training. Learn the steps to the application process and what is expected of students in this highly regarded program. Ninety-nine percent of RCC Nursing students passed the national licensing exam (NCLEX) in 2017.
